Great meal, the cook on the pork chop was great! We also got the chicken breast, potatoes, and a blue berry pie. All were very tasty! Great mocktails and cocktails as well. There's not much more to add, than this place is great in all aspects!

Truly one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. I usually do not like to spend real money on food in this city as it is not typically as good as neighboring metropolitan areas, however this is an outlier. We shared everything. They started the service off with a small butternut squash soup with a mini bread biscuit, this was outstanding. Brussel sprouts were incredible with great texture and uniform chili coating. The fettuccine mushroom bolognese was delicious. We opted for both fish dishes that night, which were wonderful. Ended on a dark chocolate brownie with milk chocolate ice cream. All together a great dining experience, would recommend.

Pleasant experience. Combine the feel of a neighborhood bar with some excellent food and you have Vernick. The chicken dish was excellent due to its juiciness and combination of flavors. The cocktails were not as special as the meal, but I enjoyed the atmosphere overall.

Awesome food and service. From the amuse bouche to the bourbon chocolate ice cream desert it was amazing flavors. A definitely comeback to restaurant. Worth the hype and price.

Couldn’t help but think of that Tool lyric “waiting like a stalking butler/who upon the finger rests.” Staff was very attentive, perhaps overly attentive. I don’t dine out too much anyway. Do I really need my table wiped in between each dish? ???? Felt like a weird Disney movie when leaving—many staff made strong direct eye contact and said goodbye very pleasantly and even held the door open elegantly. Nice atmosphere, kickass food. Everything looked, tasted, and smelled amazing.

Wonderful restaurant offering great service and exciting, innovative dishes. Loved everything that I tried at this restaurant especially the egg custard dish topped with froth and uni. That was memorable. Also recommend their blueberry pie for dessert, one of the best I've tried. To top it off, everything was priced reasonably. Will try to come back when visiting Philly!

Food Ordered: Dayboat Scallop Crudo, Crispy Potatoes, Grilled Black Sea Bass, Bison Strip Loin, Peanut Butter Semifreddo Sandwich Drinks Ordered: Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time), Six More Weeks of Winter Food was fantastic. The dessert was INSANE. Drinks were not the best. Date vibes. Went on 4/5/2023

It has been around forever and always considered one of the best in Philly. Helped put the city's amazing food on the map. That honestly makes me hesitant to give a not so great review. My honest opinion is you can eat better for cheaper in a superior ambience. It gets loud hot and crowded upstairs. Good impressed didn't wow

easily one of the best date night spots in philly. the food is innovative, farm fresh, and absolutely delicious. the drinks are robust, excellently balanced, and their ice is next level. the service it's among the best we've received. our servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, allergies etc, and pairing a wine was weirdly easy, not to mention they were determined that we were confident in our choice. highly recommend vernick to anyone looking for a unique dining experience!

Food and service were fantastic. You will not be disappointed to eat here. The building/venue was not up to part with the food and service. Such an amazing and tasty food deserves a different venue. Would you rather have amazing food inside of a castle or a mall food court? This food and service below deserve an upgraded venue.
